Emergency Action Plan

Hello,

My name is Stuart Hankinson and I am an Eagle Scout candidate in Our Lady of Peace Troop 169, OLP School alumnus and now a senior at Saint Charles. I started this project in 2020 when we all realized safety was very important and how important our church is to us.  I believe that, through this project, there will be increased safety in our faith community by educating everyone on how to respond in case of an emergency. 

With your help, the following was provided:

• Donation and Placement of bleeding control kits in the Church and School
• Completing training for School and Church staff in AED, CPR, fire suppression, and bleeding control.
• Creation of an emergency action plan that is approved by and on file with the Columbus Division of Fire.
• Placement of safety and evacuation signage in and around the Church.

My presentation was created to educate parishioners and others on how to evacuate the church (in case of a fire, gas leak, etc.) and to shelter in place (in case of a severe storm or other external threat).
