Music Ministry

Our Mission: The Mass is the source and summit of our lives. Our goals for the liturgies at Our Lady of Peace is the glorification of God and the sanctification of the people.

The music ministry at Our Lady of Peace welcomes all levels of musicianship and commitment. Don’t be concerned about not being able to read music. Anyone with a desire to praise God through music is welcome. Come when you can! Not everyone has the same time. Sing for a season if that is the best choice for you. Please consider sharing your gift of music with the parish.

Our Lady of Peace Adult Choir
The Adult choir provides music September-the Feast of Corpus Christi. They alternate singing at the 4:30 pm Mass on Saturday and the 11:30 am Mass on Sunday. This mixed ensemble rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. It sings a variety of music from the breadth of Catholic tradition to contemporary settings.  

Cantor Ministry
Our cantors are the psalmists and leader of song at our Masses. Cantors rehearse on an as needed basis.

Instrumentalists
Throughout the liturgical year, we add to the beauty of our Masses by the addition of various instruments.
